A quick note about death penalty abolition efforts coming up.

There WILL BE a bill to legislatively abolish the death penalty this legislative session. 

Next week there will be a hearing and a vote on the death penalty repeal bill, SB5339, in the Senate Law & Justice Committee.

Tuesday 2/5 at 10am: Hearing - Cherberg Building - Senate Hearing Rm 4

Thursday 2/7 at 10am: Executive Session/vote - Cherberg Building - Senate Hearing Rm 4

I encourage people to attend if they can. If you attend the hearing make sure you sign in to show your support of the bill.
